Harry Gregson Williams' wonderful score begins to kick in and we're right back into the mould of gasping in dutiful admiration at the work of without doubt gaming's coolest leading man.
The cinematic experience that Hideo Kojima has always strived for was finally realised by the new power of the Playstation 2, and the gaming world in turn was astounded by the beauty of scenes created using the graphics engine alone. it's a really well put together scene and there's few better sites in videogames than a perfect infiltration from the master of the stealth genre. There's also a great homage to Terminator 2 as Snake's stealth suit becomes damaged, one of the numerous nods to classic films that Kojima loves to throw in throughout the series.
